Educational Assistance
An educated citizen is the most valuable asset a nation cannot fail to invest into in contemporary times, and Nigeria has been regressing in this important area in comparison to other leading nations of the world. Early education is the bedrock of a nation because the potential prosperity of the nation is higher where more of its citizens have guaranteed early education. Nigeria has a history of free primary education and for the most part, the programs are still alive but with less ascribed priority and funding. The gains made in the early ‘70s to late ‘90s, to educate Nigerians have diminished due to mismanaged educational programs. Some of the consequences of these lackluster emphasis on primary education is the rise in the number of uneducated rural duelers who feed the country, and large migration of useful talents to western countries to seek adequate higher education to compensate for dissatisfied primary education.
